Locale storico dove prima esisteva la ferramenta di Morgex. Ora diventata l'Oresteria. Locale pulito. Personale accogliente. Il ragazzo è molto preparato sui cocktail, stasera ho bevuto un Gin Tonic superlativo. La ragazza è molto attenta a tutte le esigenze, brava. La carta dei vini, spazia in tutte le regioni Italiane ma non solo. Bagni super puliti. Cantina strepitosa. Complimenti a tutto lo staff.

Al posto della storica ferramenta sulla piazza della chiesa nasce, sempre dalla medesima famiglia, questo nuovo locale (da luglio 2024). Buona scelta di vini alla mescita e cantina ben fornita e ben in mostra nel pavimento della saletta privata sul retro del bancone. Serve pranzo, cena, è anche bar. Arredato con gusto semplice, hanno saputo mantenere un mix dello storico con nuovi elementi. La terrazza sul retro, una volta a posto, sarà un gioiellino. Preso due bicchieri di bianco e un piccolo tagliere pagato il giusto.

I have been here several times now... and every time I feel like I am with family. The food, atmosphere, simple but delicious and warm. Great place to eat and have a bottle of wine... or three. Small but has an extensive wine cellar!!!

Recommended by our air BnB, fair prices and good food. Friendly atmosphere. I loved the back room in front of the kitchen, it had a glass floor over a wine cellar. Family owned and operated. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome where possible to accommodate.

Oresteria is the best traditional restaurant in the Courmayeur region! Real people real food and really good affordable wine. Which does not mean cheap wine but something for connoisseurs at honest prices!! Oreste knows what he is serving you. Don’t be shy to ask him to take you down to the cellar and choose with him something special. For food and wine lovers!! Definitely our preferred restaurant ( we are locals not just the occasional tourists)!! Thank you Oreste for existing!!
